INFO: Looking to stay in on east coast, preferably northeast. Couples matching with partner applying more competitive specialty so spreading signals across multiple large cities.

Essentially I am unsure how competitive I am at any of the target programs given relatively low reserach and ECs, as well as relatively lower step score compared to clinical grades. I don’t want to shoot too high given couples match and feel unsure if target programs are considered target or should be reach. Signaling both NJ programs as home state and advisor recommended them as good baselines. Thanks in advance!
