Hi! I'm having a hard time gauging if this is too top heavy/risky as a US East Coast MD who is interested in applying to the Pacific region. I want to pursue heme/onc fellowship, originally from southwest :)

School: Low/Mid Tier East Coast State School (USMD)

Clerkships/Honors: 7 honors. 1 HP. Honored IM. Currently on IM SubI

Evals: 3 strong evals (1 from hospitalist, 1 from heme onc mentor/PI, 1 ICU)

AOA: Not sure yet

GHHS: No

Research: 6 pubs (3 first author), 7 abstracts, research honors from school 

Leadership/Mentorship: president of two clubs (one tech focused and one cultural club)

Service: (weaker) teaching at local elementary schools, harm reduction 

Geo preference: Pacific, Mid Atlantic, New England

Hometown: Mountain

Ties: Some family in Pacific, most family in mountain, med school + college in Mid Atlantic
