IM Need program suggestions to signal PLSS!!

IM List Help

School: Mid tier California MD school

Step 2 score: 1 attempt, 260

Geographic preference: Pacific, East North Central, Middle Atlantic

AOA: No

Grades: 4 honors, 4 high pass (honored IM)

Research: 20 items (mostly oral/poster presentations with 7 publications of literature reviews and case reports but none as first author) A few first author papers pending but not sure they'll be published before ERAS

Leadership: President/board member for a few groups, volunteer and board member at a few free clinics, teaching and mentoring volunteer work

Info: Looking at academic institutions, strongly interested in GI, prefer in-house GI fellowship, I went to a USMD but I am Canadian so I must apply to programs that allow a J1 or H1-B visa

Red flags: None. No gap years or repeated courses.

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure out what I should signal based on my citizenship status with visas. I would love some help on what programs may be suitable for me to signal based on my qualifications and my preferences. My location preference is Southern California > Northern California > Chicago > New York. Please help!!!

Would love any suggestions of where to send golds and silvers to. Prefer to send all three golds in California university hospitals. Considering sending silvers to Cedars Sinai, Kaiser SF, RUSH, Zucker NY, mount sinai. Other programs I’m interested in are USC, UCSD, UCSF, UC Davis, UCI, UCLA, mayo Arizona, Uchicago. I have no idea where I stand in terms of these programs so would love some input!!!
